Bluesfest Musician Denied Entry Into Canada

There is a change of plans for this weekends LiUNA! Bluesfest Windsor.

Musician Eric Gales was denied entry into Canada by the Canada Border Services Agency and will not perform Friday, July 12th.

A post on this Facebook Page said:

I got to Canada and was just denied entry. My wife started working on this over a year ago and I finally got connected to a company that specialized in helping people with a criminal past get here. I spent $ and I did everything they told me to do but still was denied. I want to apologize to my fans here in Canada because I won’t be able to perform at the festivals. My hopes were up and I’m very disappointed. Keep me in your prayers.

Festival organizers have lined up Laura Rain and The Caesars to play instead.
