Two Public Schools Named I.B Candidate Schools

Two schools with the Greater Essex County District School Board have been approved as Candidate Schools to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.

Program coordinators have been appointed for Glenwood Public School in Windsor and M.D. Bennie Public School in Leamington and they will now pursue authorization as an IB World School.

IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education – that we believe is important for our students.

Once teacher training has been completed Glenwood and M.D. Bennie will begin participation in a trial implementation leading up to official authorization from the IB Organization.
