All City Library Branches To Be Open On Fridays

A one year trial will see if opening all of the cities libraries on Friday is worth it.
Currently, only the three larger branches Central, Riverside and Budimir offer Friday hours of operation year-round.
Looking to maximize library usage and to extend a higher level of customer service the library asked council to approve an additional $98,412 to keep all branches open.
City council decided to fund this amount for one year and look at the usage statistics in the 2020 budget before deciding to make it permanent.
