Over 400 Items Up For Bid In The Rotary TV Auction

It’s almost time to tune in for amazing deals on hockey tickets, sports memorabilia, unique home decor items, delicious dining experiences, electronic equipment and travel get-aways at the 30th Annual Rotary Auction on COGECO TV.

This year’s auction will take place on November 4th and 5th starting at 7pm, when viewers can call in and make their bids for the wide range of unique items.

Last year, nearly $50,000 was raised through this annual fundraising initiative.

“This is one of our most important fundraisers,” states Debra Harshaw, President of the Rotary Club of Windsor-St. Clair. “The funds raised support our many club projects like the literacy and breakfast programs we conduct at Begley Public School and our recent partnership with Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare on the building of a greenhouse for use by the Regional Children’s Centre.” Funds raised are also used to sponsor youth education in Africa and Central America. “We assist many families on an individual basis, are able to continue our student bursary program, and can aid in Rotary’s worldwide mission to eradicate polio,” she adds.
