The County of Essex has a new Emergency Management Coordinator.
Dan Metcalfe, who took over on Monday, October 3rd, 2016, is a former Paramedic for over 25 years, most recently with Essex-Windsor EMS.
He has extensive experience in emergency preparedness, and has held various roles in regards to emergency services and emergency management training and has contributed to a number of related committees and working groups, locally, nationally and internationally.
“I am thrilled to be working in this new role for the County of Essex” said Metcalfe. “I look forward to partnering with local municipalities and organizations to ensure for the ongoing education and preparation surrounding emergency management”.
