The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has told their members to “get ready” for a strike.
Union officials say they met on Tuesday with Canada Post and the Minister of Labour with the mediators present, to review all the issues in dispute, but they say that Canada Post has not changed their position on key issues.
The union says that if nothing changes between now and tomorrow, they will be issuing 72-hour notice of strike activity.
A news conference is planned for 10am Thursday.
