West Region Ontario Provincial Police officials say that they remain hopefully optimistic that safety messages are showing signs of promise in light of the recent Easter Weekend Seat Belt Campaign.
In 2015, the OPP issued 1,196 seat belt violations. During this year’s campaign, they issued 784 tickets.
