The Windsor Public Library is holding a gigantic book sale, with thousands of titles to choose from, covering all genres of reading and viewing tastes.
Hardcover books and trade paperbacks will be priced at $2 with mass market and small paperbacks at $1. You can also pick up a plastic bag, which they will supply and fill it with books for only $5. Audio cassettes and DVDs are priced at $3 and magazines are two for a dollar.
They say that fiction is by far the largest genre for sale, but biographies, history, self-help and how-to items will also be available.
The library has been involved in a de-selection process which has made the materials surplus to need, classified them as out-of-date or worn out through heavy use. Additionally, donated items not needed are also for sale.
All proceeds from the sale will go to purchase new library materials.
The sale takes place at the main branch on Ouellette on Friday and Saturday, October 23rd and 24th from 9am to 5pm and on Sunday, October 25th from 1pm to 5pm.
