OPP have closed Manning Road between Baseline Road and Essex County Road 42 in Tecumseh following what they call a serious two vehicle crash.
The crash happened around 6pm Friday evening between a Chrysler vehicle and a tractor trailer.
The driver of the Chrysler sustained life threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The driver of the tractor trailer received minor injuries in the crash.
One witness tells windsoriteDOTca that each vehicle ended up in the ditch on opposites sides of the road.
The road was opened around 7am Saturday.
