The City of Windsor has a new Executive Director of Operations/Deputy City Engineer.
Dwayne Dawson starts on May 11th after most recently spending four years as Senior Construction Manager on the Windsor Essex Parkway Project for Amico Infrastructures Incorporated.
Prior to 2010, Dwayne spent four years as Vice President of Smith Contracting where responsibilities included the management of concrete and asphalt crushing and the recycling yard. He also spent nearly seven years with Dunn Paving as a Senior Project Engineer, two years with Mill-Am Corporation as a Project Engineer and three years as an Engineer with Bruce Crozier Engineering in Leamington.
He has a Civil Engineering degree from Cleveland State University and has been a long-time member and past President of the Heavy Construction Association. He is currently a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
