Residential house sales are up for the month of January according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
In January, 279 homes were sold, compared to 224 in January 2014. That is a jump of 24.55%.
In Windsor, the east end was where most homes changed hands with 41 sold, followed by central and downtown Windsor with 39. South Windsor wraps up the top three with 32 houses sold.
In the county, LaSalle was the most popular area with 23 houses sold, Amherstburg had 21 house sales and Lakeshore had 18 homes change hands.
