The Windsor Family Credit Union is launching a program to assist its members who are employed at Chrysler Canada.
The WFCU Chrysler Care Program is available to all WFCU members who are employed at Chrysler Canada and is designed to provide members with temporary assistance during this necessary and exciting Chrysler re-invention.
WFCU’s current members will have access to the program, which includes reducing their monthly loan or mortgage payments by up to 50% for a maximum of three months. They will be able to defer their loan or mortgage monthly payments for up to two months, access new funds of up to $5,000; available to eligible borrowers, and provide mortgage extensions up to the original mortgage amount and the extension fee will be waived.
“Chrysler has played a significant role in the strong fabric of this community for many years,” said Martin J. Komsa, WFCU President and Chief Executive Officer. “We want our members to know that we are here to assist and help them through this necessary and highly anticipated re-tooling of the Windsor Assembly Plant. WFCU believes in Chrysler and has been a proud provider of financial services to many of its (Chrysler) employees since 1944.”
The program is available to current borrowing and non-borrowing WFCU members employed at Chrysler. Members can call 519-974-3100 to find out how they can take advantage of the WFCU Chrysler Care Program.
