The Windsor Parade Corporation along with the the Canadian Union of Public Employees and Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario have teamed up to make this year’s 46th Annual Windsor Santa Claus Parade easier to watch for those with special needs this coming Saturday.

A special accessible viewing area will be located at Assisted Living South Western Ontario 3141 Sandwich Street and in front of the Dominion House 3140 Sandwich Street across the street.

Those wishing to use the area can be dropped off prior to the parade at 5:30pm and arrangements for pick up should be made for approximately 7:30pm. Accessible washrooms and hot chocolate will be provided for those in the designated area.

Organizers will have volunteers to help assist caregivers and those with special needs to ensure their comfort during the parade. Windsor Police will assist with getting Handi Transit back into the viewing area after the Parade or any vehicles that will be picking up those with special needs.
