Environment Canada is warning the public about low visibility with heavy flurries in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent this afternoon.

In a special weather statement issued at 2:26pm, they say bands of heavy flurries are moving quickly east across the regions near Lake Erie this afternoon.

Environment Canada warns visibility may briefly be reduced to less than 1km in quick bursts of heavier snow and local blowing snow. Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing driving conditions and allow extra time to reach their destination.
