Road Construction You Should Know About This Week

Several new projects start this week, with most of the new ones focused on the west end of Windsor. Several other projects are nearing the completion stage.

New This Week:

Birch Street:
Will be closed from Wolfe Court to Prince Road for asphalt resurfacing until August 1st

Wolfe Court:
Will be closed from Birch Street to Cul-de-sac for asphalt resurfacing until August 1st.

Russell Street:
Will be closed from Mill Street to Detroit Street for asphalt resurfacing until July 25th.

Detroit Street:
Will be closed from Russell Street to Sandwich Street for asphalt resurfacing until July 25th.

Chewett Street:
Will be closed from Sandwich Street to Russell Street for asphalt resurfacing until July 25th.

On Going:

Wyandotte Street East:
Will have lane restrictions (one lane in each direction) from Langlois Avenue to Windsor Avenue for watermain construction until September 15th.

Wyandotte Street East:
Will be closed from Gladstone Avenue to Argyle Road for watermain and road construction until September 25th.

Intersection of California Avenue and University Avenue West:
Will be closed to through traffic due to sewer, watermain and concrete pavement work until July 25th.

Little River Bridge:
Which accesses the Little River Pollution Control Plant and Little River Park will be closed at Little River Road to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for rehabilitation work until September 2nd.

Pelissier Street:
Will be closed between Wyandotte Street West and Giles Boulevard West for road and water main construction until October 2nd.

Roselawn Drive:
Will be closed from Woodland Avenue to Longfellow Avenue for watermain construction until August 29th.

Northwood Street:
From South Cameron Boulevard to Dandurand Avenue, will be closed for watermain construction until August 29th.

California Avenue:
From Wyandotte Street to University Avenue will be closed for sewer, watermain and road reconstruction until August 31st.

George Avenue:
From Tecumseh Road East to Seminole Street will be closed for road resurfacing until July 18th.

E.C. Row Expressway:
Lane restrictions will take place on the E.C. Row Expressway at the CASO Bridge between Dougall Avenue and Howard Avenue for bridge rehabilitation until August 20th. The westbound on-ramp to E.C. Row Expressway at Howard Avenue will be closed until Tuesday August 5th.

St. Rose Avenue:
Will be closed from Lauzon Road to Virginia Avenue for sewer, watermain and road reconstruction until September 1st.

Cross and Baby Streets:
Will be closed for sewer, road and watermain construction will take place on Cross Street & Baby Street from Chippawa Street to South Street until July 30th.

Assumption Street:
Will be closed between Hall and Moy for watermain and road construction until July 25th.

Chatham Street West:
Will be closed for watermain construction between Caron Avenue and Bruce Avenue until July 31st.

Janette Avenue:
Will be closed from Riverside Drive to Wyandotte Street for watermain construction until July 31st.

Park Street West:
Will be closed between Caron and Bruce for watermain construction until July 31st.

Pitt Street West:
Will be closed between Caron Avenue and Bruce Avenue for watermain construction until July 31st.

Hall Avenue:
Will be closed between Riverside Drive and Wyandotte Street for watermain and road construction until July 25th.

Intersection of Ojibway Parkway and Broadway Boulevard (west of Ojibway Parkway):
Will be closed for Parkway construction until October.
