Windsor Mayor Eddie Francis is one of three nominated for an award from The Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance.

Francis along with Greg Krischke the Mayor of Leduc, Alberta and John Winston the General Manager of London Tourism have all been nomiated for the Sport Tourism Champion of the Year Award presented by Tourism Toronto.

The Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance presents awards annually in six categories to individuals, companies, events and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the success of the sport tourism industry across Canada in 2013.

The awards will be presented in Edmonton on April 2nd.
