401 Closing Temporarily For North Talbot Bridge Rebuilding

NOTE: The closure for this weekend has now been cancelled.
There are two planned closures of Highway 401 between Provincial Road and Highway 3 for the next two weekends.
On February 7th, Highway 401 will close at 10pm between these points and reopen at approximately 5am on Monday February 9th. The following weekend will have a similar closure.
These are to allow for the removal and placement of girders on the North Talbot Road Bridge. A detour route is in place for this closure.
Parkway officials say that closures are weather permitting, and that the extreme cold has impacted work on the Parkway and crews are working hard to make up time.
