Lovers of craft beer gathered in the shadow of former Hiram Walker warehouses, Friday night, to enjoy good company and merriment with a retro theme.
The region’s first festival dedicated to craft beer welcomed more than a thousand guests to its Walkerville setup at the corner of Argyle and Wyandotte.
“Rather than holding the event in a plaza, we [opted] for a good ol’ fashion neighbourhood party,” explained festival organizer, Adriano Ciotoli, co-owner of WindsorEats, when describing the event earlier this year.
Patrons celebrated the burgeoning Ontario craft beer movement and enjoyed local entertainment and good eats from St. Clair College’s Culinary Arts program.
