Walkerville’s ShopEco Celebrating 1 Year Anniversary

In celebration of the first anniversary of their reopening, ShopEco has a full week full of events, freebies, specials, and prizes planned.

Located at 378 Devonshire Road in Walkerville, ShopEco is Windsor’s only dedicated store for eco-friendly products. They carefully evaluate everything on their shelves and carry only the safest, most effective green products on the market.

ShopEco offers skin care, cosmetics, cleaning products, candles, water bottles, lunch containers, filtration systems, toys, apparel, and more. Many products are local or Canadian-made, vegan-friendly, fragrance free, and gluten free.

They are open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 11am to 4pm.

Here is a look at the week-long celebration events:

Sunday:
– Group Hug Apparel Meet & Greet 12pm – 1pm: Meet Andrew and his mom, Karen, creators of the very popular line of t-shirts and other items from Group Hug Apparel
– Piggy Paint Natural as Mud Spa Party 11am – 4pm: Have your nails painted using non-toxic, water-based nailpolish from Piggy Paint. All ages welcome. (Please contact us at [email protected] to book your appointment)

Monday:
– Free samples of Faerhaven Coconut Milk Facial Bars
– Get 5 Faerhaven soaps for $20 (excludes specialty bars)

Tuesday:
– Giddy Yoyo Tasting Party 10am – 7pm
– Sample all 12 Giddy Yoyo chocolate bar flavours to find your favourite! Giddy Yoyo chocolate bars are raw, organic, vegan, gluten-free, and Canadian.

Wednesday:
– We Love Walkerville! Bring in a receipt from another Walkerville business and get 15% off your purchase.
– Free samples of Sweet Pits deodorant and Earthpaste toothpaste

Thursday:
– Free samples of Cocoon Apothecary Rosey Cheeks Facial Cream
– Launch of Cocoon Apothecary recycling program – starting today, bring back your empty Cocoon Apothecary containers for a discount on your purchase that day ($1 per container)

Friday:
– Anointment Natural Skin Care feature 10am – 7pm
– Free Anointment soap “hors d’oeuvres”

Saturday:
