Fire has significantly damaged a home in Walkerville.

Firefighters were called around 7pm and found heavy smoke pouring out of 490 Lincoln between Wyandotte and Assumption.

Crews found fire scaling the wall inside the building and attacked the fire.

The for-sale house was unoccupied at the time the blaze broke out.

Firefighters had to break all of the building’s windows to let smoke escape.

Fire officials say that there is $130,000 in damage and that the fire started on main floor but the exact cause could not be determined.
