UPDATE – Windsor Fire reports the blaze caused $175,000 in damages. The cause of the fire couldn’t be determined.
Windsor firefighters were called to the 2100 block of Woodlawn in South Walkerville just after 7:30am this morning.
Arriving crews found heavy smoke pouring from a home and discovered fire eating away at the basement.
All occupants of the home made it out safely.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control after 8am before it could spread.
There’s no word yet on how the fire started.
