Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex is holding a Homeowner Information Session this Wednesday at 6pm.
The Homeowner Information Session will offer insight regarding how families can qualify and apply for the Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex Affordable Homeownership Program.
“This is the perfect opportunity for families who might not be sure if they would qualify for our program to come and learn more about it” states Janis Windsor, CEO Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex. “Habitat staff and Family Selection Committee members will be on hand to answer any questions that potential Partner Families may have” adds Windsor.
Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex says that they have plans to build 25 homes in the next five years, three of which are planned for the fall of 2013.
“We are currently working with our partner Families for 2013, so any new applications that come in will be for the 2014 build season and beyond” says Windsor.
Anyone interested in learning more about becoming a Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex Partner Family is invited to attend. Only perspective Partners who attend a Homeowner Information Session will have the opportunity to apply for housing.
The session will be held at the United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex County office located at 300 Giles Boulevard East. You are asked to call 519-969-3762 ext. 22 to register.
