Reconstruction of California Avenue near the University of Windsor is set to begin Monday.
California between Wyandotte and College, which is presently in poor condition with outdated sewers and utilities, will be completed in time for the completion of the University’s new parking garage. The main access for the parking garage will be on California Avenue.
Crews will update the sewers and watermains and will completely rebuild the roadway, curbs and sidewalks.
The road will be closed until August 16th.
