The United Way’s GenNext is welcoming Rose City Sport & Social Club to Windsor this Tuesday evening at Rock Bottom.
The new Club, which is Windsor-Essex’s first ever multi-sport, recreational league is now registering individuals and teams for fotball, soccer and dodgeball when their first season begins after Victoria Day. Fall sports include floor hockey, court volleyball and basketball.
The Rose City Sport & Social Club offers non-competitive and co-ed sports leagues for adults 19+ along with tournaments and social events.
“We’re keen to connect our members to each other, and to support the organizations that are tackling important issues in this community, like retention of young talent,” Woodcock says.
“RCSSC represents an opportunity for adults to get out, relax, enjoy themselves and play.”
Tuesday night’s event begins at 7pm at Rock Bottom (3236 Sandwich Street) and includes free food, a Steam Whistle special and giveaways.
