Tecumseh Mall will host its 8th annual Easter Egg Hunt for kids on Saturday.  Registration begins at 12 noon until 1pm with the Easter Egg Hunt taking place from 1pm to 2pm.

The Egg Hunt will be open to all kids under the age of 12 with a $2 suggested donation per child, with the proceeds benefiting Easter Seals.  The first 250 registrants who donate $5 or more to Easter Seals will receive a $5 Tecumseh Mall gift card.

This year’s festivities will feature hundreds of eggs scattered throughout Tecumseh Mall, face painting, prizes and a guest appearance from the Easter Bunny. Registrants will also be able to enter their names to win a pack of 4 tickets to Scooby-Doo Live or a 4-pack of tickets to the Harlem GlobeTrotters at the WFCU Centre. Registrants must be present to win the prizes.

“We love seeing the kids have a great time enjoying the Easter activities such as the egg hunt and face painting particularly when it benefits such a great organization in our community as Easter Seals Ontario,” says Debra McVeety, General Manager, Tecumseh Mall.

Easter Seals will also accept donations at the event and distribute information on the organization and upcoming events.

“This is a great event that not only benefits Easter Seals kids in need, but brings the community together in one place to have a little fun.” says David Lenz, Senior Development Officer, Easter Seals Ontario. “We truly appreciate the partnership we have had with Tecumseh Mall on this event over the last eight years and look forward to this year’s event.”
