Bid On A Fireman As Magic Mike’s Tarzan Hosts Live Auction At The Room, Friday

Legendary American professional wrestler and actor Kevin Nash will be at The Room Nightclub in downtown Windsor this Friday for an event that benefits Transition to Betterness.

Nash, who recently played the role of Tarzan in the film Magic Mike, will host a Live Fireman Auction in which participants bid for a date with local firefighters. The former WWE superstar will also be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans.

Kevin Nash grew up in Detroit; played basketball for the University of Tennessee; pro-basketball for several European teams; and served in the United States Army before turning to wrestling. A six-time world wrestling champion, he acquired a total of 21 championship titles over the course of his career. As an actor, Nash has appeared in The Longest Yard alongside Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Burt Reynolds; in The Punisher with John Travolta; and in DOA: Dead or Alive as Bass Armstrong. Other film and TV credits include Almighty Thor, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II, Rock of Ages, Brothers, Nikki, The Newest Pledge and Monster Brawl. Kevin has also had guest appearances on Jimmy Kimmel, Politically Incorrect and The Tonight Show.

Doors open at 9pm and the night kicks off at 10pm. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased in advance at Chanoso’s and Oishii Restaurants in downtown Windsor. Proceeds from the event benefit Transition to Betterness, a local Canadian charity dedicated to providing comfort and compassion to cancer patients and families during the most difficult times of their illness.
