New Dollarama Store Planned for University Avenue West

An old bingo hall on University Avenue West will be a Dollarama store once renovations are complete in the coming months.

Renovations started at the old Derby Bingo location in mid July and just this past week, familiar Dollarama-green paint was applied to the side of the building. The building at 1279 University Avenue West at Cameron, and across from Mason Vocational School most recently — and briefly — housed a pizza restaurant.

The new location is set to open this fall once interior work and setting up of the store is complete.
