Olde Sandwich Towne has new lamp posts!
The purchase of new lamp posts was approved by the City of Windsor last year for a price of $320,000 and some were installed in various spots of Windsor’s oldest community this past week.
The new lamp posts are LED-based and durable to withstand a long life.
The new lamp posts are black (replacing existing green), nearly 16 feet (or 3.8m) tall and will be installed in a t-shaped area along Sandwich (between Brock and Detroit) and Mill (between Russell and Peter).
