From Environment Canada:
At 1:15 PM EDT, weather radar indicates a severe thunderstorm just southwest of detroit capable of producing 100 km/h wind gusts.
This storm is tracking southeastward at 80 km/h and will cross south of Windsor, in the vicinity of Amherstburg, at about 1:30 PM EDT. Large hail may also be associated.
Remember that some severe thunderstorms can also produce tornadoes. Emergency management Ontario recommends taking cover immediately when threatening weather approaches.
