Windsor Ice Park (Google Street View)

Windsor Ice Park located at 3400 Grand Marais Road East has been sold.

The rink has been operating under a receiver since it was placed into bankruptcy in October of 2011. The property has been purchased by 1339455 Ontario Limited operating as King Development.

The court documents from the receiver show that they do not contemplate that the current five full-time and 22 part-time employees will be transferred to the new owners.

The new owners intend to close the facility as soon as the sale is complete at the end of this week and renovate it.

It will reopen once renovations have been complete.
