PHOTOS: North Talbot Bridge Demolished as W-E Parkway Construction Officially Begins

The first stages of construction of Windsor’s new border crossing began this morning at 3am. Crews from Amico Construction demolished the North Talbot Road bridge over the 401 and will be reconstructing it shortly to make way for two additional 401 highway lanes.

The 401 is closed in both directions from Highway 3 to Manning Road, follow Detour D-5 if you’re headed on the highway.
