This week I am featuring some wonderful little critters.
The Humane Society often becomes home to many little pocket pets. There are currently three great guinea pigs just waiting for a forever home.
This first pair are bonded and really need to stay together. As a former owner of two guinea pigs, I can say that two is better than one and they really do love each other!
Meet Weston and Sammy:
And here is Buster:
Next is a wonderful domestic rat named Chris.
Chris is smart, affectionate and so cuddly. You may not know this, but rats make excellent pets! They are intelligent and can learn tricks and respond to their name.
And last but definitely not least, Copper.
Copper is a very energetic coon hound who had to undergo surgery to amputate his leg after it was badly injured after being hit by a car. He is a great dog who needs a very loving home.
Thanks everyone for looking in!
Please stop by the shelter this week to visit these wonderful creatures!
And please, be kind to animals.
