New construction on south Walker Road is nothing new these days, but an expansion and renovation of the old Lighting Boutique brings a unique and exciting dining experience to the area. The Stir Crazy Grille, newly opened in early December 2012, is the Walker Business District’s answer to Tecumseh’s Mongolian Grill. Independently Canadian owned and operated, the Stir Crazy Grille is open for lunch and dinner with food and drink specials daily.
The modern sit-down restaurant boasts a Korean style BBQ menu, with a huge selection of serve-yourself stir fry options, buffet-style. Over 20 different options are available to create a dish unique to your tastes, with no added MSG. Everything from vegetables to noodles, meats and seafoods are tossed and sauteed with tongs on a huge round grill manned by trained chefs. Customize your dinner bowl and be entertained while they sear your choices right in front of you. Too many choices? Can’t decide? Just peruse their otherwise ample menu with unique twists on traditional appetizers, entrees and desserts.
They offer a Freequent Warrior program which earns you a point for every dollar you spend, and gets you a free Stir Fry meal on your birthday and a free dessert when you join them for your wedding anniversary. Have kids 12 and under? Every Tuesday they can eat for free, with every paying adult.
With it’s modern decor, a mix of booths, tables and bar seating, Stir Crazy Grille is a great place to stop in after work or shopping. Three big screen TVs, a stocked bar with five brews on tap and $2.50 well drinks on Wednesdays, the atmosphere is a welcome mix of easy going gathering spot and upscale dining. Stir Crazy Grille aims to bring you fresh, quality ingredients with bold flavours, in a uniquely casual dining experience.
