Midtown residents hoping for repairs on Pelissier street will have to wait a bit longer.
Under the City of Windsor’s capital budget which was passed last week, Pelissier Street between Erie and Wyandotte was looked at as a possible reconstruction project but the costs are too high.
The street, which is listed as deficient, is visually in bad shape and is crumbling in sections.
The total cost to repave it $1.3 million and a report to City Council suggests that the timeframe for repairs is five or more years.
