Lakeshore OPP have recovered another of the seven dogs they say were stolen from an address on Lions Club Road in Lakeshore back in June.
Police say the property was broken into sometime during the early morning hours on June 5th and seven beagles were stolen.
Two of the dogs were located in late June in separate areas of Windsor after being abandoned by the suspect or suspects, and police say a third dog was located on July 13th in Windsor.
Prior to the theft, the animals were the subject of social media postings that raised concerns for their wellbeing including calls to rescue the animals from the property.
Police are still asking for the public’s assistance to help locate the four remaining beagles. Police say one of the female beagles was pregnant and should have given birth to a litter. They say there may be beagle puppies that are circulating as well.
