Lakeshore has launched a new online reporting tool called ‘Report a Problem’ which provides those who live in the town with the opportunity to report problems such as a streetlight outage, missed garbage collection or potholes.
The mobile friendly tool, connected to the municipality’s Service Request and Work Order system, will streamline collecting information about Lakeshore’s infrastructure.
“We have heard residents say they want an easy way to report problems,” said Lakeshore Mayor, Tom Bain. “This online system provides the opportunity to let us know about an issue so we can create a work order and schedule the appropriate staff for the job. We all want our community to be safe and well cared for, so I encourage you to try our Report a Problem online reporting tool. ”
The Report a Problem tool provides users the following reporting options:
- Road conditions (pothole / debris)
- Hydrant concern
- Streetlight concern
- Sign Issue (damaged /missing)
- Rural Mailboxes / property damage
- Generic Park concern
- Sidewalk concern
- Missed Garbage / Yard Waste pickup
- Missed Recycling pickup
