OPP Looking For Witnesses after Leamington Hit and Run Accident

OPP are looking for witnesses to a crash that occurred on March 4th, 2020 in Leamington.

Police say that at approximately 10:48pm, a Chevrolet Malibu was travelling eastbound on Talbot Street West, when a blue or dark-grey SUV pulled out of a McDonald’s restaurant right in front of the other vehicle.

The Malibu collided with the rear of the SUV, causing heavy damage. The SUV left the scene of the collision. The driver of the Malibu sustained minor injuries. It’s unknown if the driver of the SUV was injured in the collision.

The suspect vehicle will have sustained heavy rear-end damage and was last seen travelling eastbound on Talbot Street West.
