ProsperUs, a collective of non-profit, government, health care, education, labour, business, and inspired residents with a shared vision of a prosperous Windsor-Essex County, is looking for youth age of 13TO 25 who live or go to school in the Downtown, West Windsor & Leamington to join a Youth Community Action Network (Y-CAN) working group.
These youth will co-design solutions to help more kids succeed in school and solve neighbourhood issues, while bringing their unique and important perspectives to the table, along with adult residents, service providers, and subject matter experts.
Youth will be paid $14/hour to participate in monthly Y-CAN meetings, and are able to earn volunteer hours for high school graduation requirements. Travel costs and childcare are also covered for participants, if needed.
