Boat Capsizes In Lake Erie

OPP are warning those venturing onto the waterways to be aware of changing weather and water conditions after a boat capsized in Lake Erie Wednesday.
Police say it happened around 3pm at the Leamington Marina.
The operator and sole occupant, a 26-year-old Leamington man who was not wearing a life preserver was thrown from the boat into the frigid waters of Lake Erie.
OPP say he was able to make his way to shore and although cold, suffered no injuries.
Police stress that it is imperative always to wear a life jacket and take all necessary safety precautions.
