One person remains in critical condition in Detroit Receiving Hospital after being rescued by firefighters from a burning home in the 1300 block of Curry Avenue early Saturday morning.
Fire crews were called to the home around 4:45am and found heavy smoke and flames when they arrived.
One firefighter was also treated at the scene for unknown injuries.ital.
Investigators say the fire was caused by unattended cooking.
Damage is set at $100,000 to the structure, and $30,000 to the contents.
