One of Walker Road’s oldest local businesses is finally stepping into a new building and ending a long history.
The Lighting Boutique, which first opened its doors in 1970 near the intersection of Walker and Division, recently moved into a newly-constructed location behind its old spot, and demolition of the old location is well underway.
The new store was constructed inside a new plaza that features additional leasing space and recently-opened Stir Crazy Grille. The old store, once demolished, will be used as a parking lot.
