As a result of a one-day political protest planned by the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario, all Greater Essex County District School Board elementary schools will be closed to students and their transportation cancelled on Friday, January 11, 2013.
The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario say this one day strike action is “Based on the Minister’s deliberate and provocative choice to wipe out the democratic rights of tens of thousands of educators”
