Man Knocks Bike Rider Off Bicycle With Punch, Breaks Rider’s Clavicle

In a case of yet another violent assault in Windsor’s core, a 50 year old man has suffered a broken clavicle after being knocked off his bike by a fist.
Windsor Police say they were dispatched to the area of Wyandotte and Langlois around 8:45pm last night and found a 50-year-old man being treated by EMS. Investigation revealed that the man was riding his bike southbound on Langlois on the sidewalk when a the suspect, walking north, delivered a punch to the bicyclist’s head, causing him to fall off of his bicycle.
The suspect fled the area. The bike rider was complaining of a sore shoulder, ribs, had a cut on his nose and face and had a swollen forehead. EMS determined that the man had a broken clavicle as well.
Police say at the hospital the victim indicated that he may know the suspect and further indicated that he did not wish to proceed with a statement to police.
The suspect is described by witnesses as white male, in his 20’s, 5’10”, 260 lbs, short black hair and beard, wearing baggy black shirt and jeans.
