If you’re a nacho fanatic looking to spice things up, one Windsorite is aiming to hit that “suite” spot.
Located at 3395 Howard Avenue, The Nacho Suite is Chris Bergeron’s brain child. Looking to satisfy many tastes with the power of nachos, the newly-opened restaurant promotes freshness in a casual setting. From his hand cut french fries to baked tortilla chips, it’s a unique experience.
Bringing a new concept to the area, the cozy but sharply designed location puts diners in the driving seat. Placing their order at a front counter before sitting down, people get to build the nacho platter of their dreams. Choosing five toppings from a list that includes (but isn’t limited to) tomatoes, lettuce, mushrooms, green peppers and re-fried beans, there are several combinations to create.
If that wasn’t enough however, there are also three different meat choices: Beef, chicken and seafood — a mixture of shrimp and scallops. that’s not including the standard freshly-grated cheese and optional sour cream either.
Beyond the food featured in the restaurant’s title, Bergeron has plenty more to offer. Poutines, dusted mushrooms and several desserts are also on the menu. Everything is served to eat in the restaurant or to take-out: Call-in orders are also accepted.
With such an interesting concept, Bergeron has received positive feedback from customers so far.
