This Friday and Saturday, it’s the 8th Annual Walkerville Art Walk & Rock in beautiful Old Walkerville.

Starting at 4pm Friday, take a stroll through over forty shops, small businesses and restaurants along Wyandotte, Devonshire, Chilver, Windermere, Lincoln, Gladstone and others, meet local artists and musicians and even enjoy a mini food festival.

This exciting annual event, now in its’ 8th year, has brought thousands of people to the Walkerville neighbourhood to experience the flare of an area that is both trendy and respectful of its’ heritage. Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to win $500 Walkerville Dollars by having their passport stamped at all participating businesses on Friday, July 16th from 4pm to 11pm or Saturday, July 17th from 11am to 5pm.

This year Devonshire Rd will be closed to host approximately 40 artist’s booths, additional to the artists that will be set up inside participating businesses. There will be live entertainment featured both Friday & Saturday from 5pm to 11pm – and a “Mojito Tent” sponsored by Lamb’s Rum.™ Many of Walkerville’s restaurants will be setting up booths inside the tent so you can taste their specialties.

The Art Walk and Rock features live entertainment, a pedestrian-friendly setting and fun for children and adults alike.
