The Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association announced this morning the winners of a unique YouTube short video contest for high school students designed to highlight the value of education in Ontario’s Catholic schools.
Last fall students from across Ontario’s 29 Catholic District School Boards were invited to create a 1-minute video that communicates the distinctive impact and value of a Catholic education for young people today. Participants were asked to upload submissions to the popular public video sharing platform YouTube.
The contest is part of Ontario Catholic schools’ “Faith in Our Future Campaign.”
Second place was awarded to Victoria McGuire-Rainone from Assumption College Catholic High School with her video called “Catholic Education Enhancing Our Faith”.
