Early Morning Bomb Threat at Ambassador Bridge a Hoax

Early this morning, Windsor Police were called to the Bridge after the 911 centre in Windsor was contacted by the Detroit 911 Centre who advised them they had received a bomb threat against the Ambassador Bridge.
Police say that since the call was made in the United States the situation was handled by US Authorities, Detroit Police, Border Patrol and the Bridge Company.
Windsor Police kept in contact with US Authorities who deemed the call to be a hoax.
The bridge was not closed.
