The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to man their familiar red kettles, this Christmas season, in 18 different locations.
This year’s campaign kicks off November 19th and continues right up until Christmas Eve. The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers that can give three hours or more of their time.
Last year the Christmas Kettle Campaign surpassed its $240,000 goal, with that money being used to help provide over 1100 food vouchers and more than 2800 toy bags during Christmas 2011. Money also helped to support The Salvation Army’s Community & Family Services throughout the year.
