Doors Open Windsor returns this Saturday and Sunday allowing Windsorites to be house guests at some of Windsor’s finest gems. This year, Doors Open Windsor 2012 joins the nationwide commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812.

What began as a European event in the 1980s, Doors Open made its way to Ontario in 2002 and has permitted thousands and thousands of people to visit some otherwise-private historic homes, ancient buildings and hallowed halls.

Doors Open Windsor runs at the following locations in Windsor, times vary for each. Check the Doors Open website for information, maps, directions and literature on each site.
