The 2012 New Holland Pro-Rodeo Series kicks-off in southwestern Ontario with the “Country 95.9 Rock N Rodeo” held this weekend at the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village in the heart of Essex County.
In addition to world class professional rodeo all weekend, visitors will be treated to live country music each evening including one of Canada’s hottest artists Dean Brody, blistering fast barrel racing, the Country 95.9 Rock N Rodeo Queen Contest and line dancing. The Vendor Village featuring local artists, shops, food concessions and a beer garden create a festive atmosphere throughout weekend which includes pony rides, a petting zoo and a mini-midway for the kids.
Proceeds from the weekend activities are dedicated to two important local charities: the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village and the Windsor Essex Therapeutic Riding Association.
